Great White Anticipation

I am actually typing this in the car! I thought I would amuse myself on these 500 kay plus days... although today is only around 400 km - from Ceduna to Port Lincoln. We are all a little nervous/excited as tomorrow we are going in cages to get up close to the Great Whites of the ocean!! Need I say more? We have explored so much of our great country – no point chickening out now to explore one of Australia’s great sharks. If 'Jaws' didn’t do enough damage to my surfing appetite, then what's the point in worrying about what is lurking underneath the chilly waters of our southern states?

Anyway, Gary has just jumped out of the car as we are filming a shot passing through Venus Bay area on the Eyre Peninsula. He has his earphones in with music blarring away from his iPod...I wonder if he realises he's singing out loud at the same time - very funny. Charli is in the other car – the support car – she is fast asleep...I hope she remembers this trip, even though she is only two. It would be a nice thought to think this does shape her in some way. She is hilarious sometimes...she's discovered somersaults and wants to do them at every opportunity!!!

Oh, and we just decided we are having oysters and prawns for dinner tonight. I'm sure one day I will read back to one of these blogs and be envious of this trip. It really is pretty remarkable when you think about it...
