The 'Places We Go' dream was born more than a decade ago, when co-founders Jen and Daniel were both cadets at Victoria's regional TV network WIN TV, both dreaming about 'one day travelling the world and making TV..."
After a decade of going about their own careers, they went to Everest for almost 3 months in 2005 and produced a documentary called "Everest – Unfinished Business". It followed the story of 3 Victorian policemen who climbed Mt Everest in honour of the late Superintendent Paul Carr, head of the Victoria Police Special Operations Group, who died while training for the climb.
It was there that they sat on a rock at Base Camp, Mt Everest (as there are only rocks to actually sit on!!) and decided it was time to go on the 'Places We Go' journey. Jen and Daniel came home from Nepal, quit their jobs with major networks and started on their next big adventure. They have gathered a small, but amazingly talented team filled with the passion of travel…and 'Places We Go' was born.
